New from Gideon Optics, the Judge is a concealed carry ready RMSC footprint optic that weighs less than an ounce and features a large window compared to most other RMSC footprint optics. Judge fits on optics ready slim slide pistols like the Glock 48 MOS, Glock 43X, Canik Elite SC, Springfield Hellcat and Sig P365XL without needing an adapter plate. Judge will also work with slides and adapter plates using the newer Holosun “K” footprint. The reticle is a crisp and sharp 3 MOA dot that is quick to find yet makes taking accurate shots with such small handguns much easier than using iron sights. Battery life at brightness level 6 (out of 10) would be about 40,000 hours continuously, but Judge’s motion sensing shake-to-awake illumination extends practical battery life beyond the industry standard 50,000 hours. There’s no room for a top-feed battery tray, so a CR2032 resides underneath, and you’ll need pull Judge off of the mount or footprint to replace the battery. A waterproofing cover is provided to prevent water from reaching the battery in the event your optic gets dunked. Windage and elevation adjustments feature audible and tactile clicks at approximately 1 MOA per click.
Judge also includes a low-profile 1913 Picatinny mount included in the box in case you want to run it on a 45 degree offset, backup sight, or even as the primary optic on a shotgun, carbine, or PCC.
Judge is backed up by a three year warranty covering the function of the optic. Excepting intentional abuse, if the optic stops functioning as intended within three years of purchase, Gideon will replace it.
