Gideon Optics – Rock

New from Gideon Optics, the Rock is a carry ready RMR footprint pistol dot. It’s fantastic for competing in carry optics division or even for beginners who want to improve their skills. That reticle is a 3 MOA center dot surrounded by a 65 MOA ring for a combination of fast acquisition and great precision capability.  You can also choose to order your rock with a single 3MOA dot-only in the center of the window. Battery life at brightness level 6 (out of 10) would be about 20,000 hours continuously, but Rock’s motion sensing shake-to-awake illumination extends practical battery life to an industry standard 50,000 hours. When the time comes to swap that CR1632 battery, you just pop the old one out the top-feed battery tray, so there’s no need to remove the optic and re-zero due to a battery swap. Windage and elevation adjustments feature audible and tactile clicks at approximately 1 MOA per click.

Rock also includes a low-profile 1913 Picatinny mount included in the box in case you want to run it on a 45 degree offset, backup sight, or even as the primary optic on a shotgun, carbine, or PCC.

Rock is backed up by a three year warranty covering the function of the optic. Excepting intentional abuse, if the optic stops functioning as intended within three years of purchase, Gideon will replace it.
